Hidden Look-out of Byron Bay

Enjoy a 360-degree view of the Byron Bay coastline with the Cape Byron lighthouse in site, Mt Warning and the lush green hills of Bangalow at Scarrabelloti’s lookout on Coolamon Scenic Drive. But, to make it even more magical, visit the lookout at dusk and indulge in the fairy-floss skies the Byron Bay sunsets produce.

Minyon Falls

Discover the beautiful natural wonders of Minyon Falls in Nightcap National park, the lookout is easily accessible via a short walkway. You will lose yourself in the magnificent views of the valley and the 100m waterfall, the rainfall mist rises from the valley floor giving an ethereal quality to the park. It is a truly breathtaking sight. Nightcap National Park is protected in the Byron Bay Hinterland with sub-tropical rain forests, walking tracks, swimming pools and the previously mentioned Minyon Falls. To get to this magical place, you drive east through Bexhill and reach a small village of Rosebank. Follow the signs to Minyon Falls, with an 8 km loop walk to the bottom of the falls. After your visit, head towards the village of The Channon, home to the famous monthly market and discover a range of locally made crafts and produce.

Mt Warning

Mt Warning Rainforest Park is located between the Gold Coast and Byron Bay, offering the perfect location to explore lush rainforests, waterfalls, beaches at Wollumbin, craft markets and more! Be the first in Australia to see the sunrise from the top of Mt Warning, the track is 8.8km and 5 hour return walk through the rainforest to the peak.
