What is the difference between the 3 room types?

Our three suite types are the same size and floor plan, being 65sqm One Bedroom self-contained suites. They all have kitchenettes, laundry facilities, and a front and rear verandah.

Standard Suites – are a two minute stroll from the resort’s central area, located near the Tennis Court end of the accommodation blocks. The resort contains five suites without baths, all other suites contain large deep soak bath tubs.

Superior Suites – located in the same blocks as the Standard Suites, away from the Tennis Court, the majority of Superior Suites are on upper floors. All have a deep soak bath tub.

Deluxe Spa Suites – located in a secluded area surrounded by a Coastal Cyprus rainforest and closer proximity to Tallow Beach, Deluxe Spa Suites contain a deep soak spa bath, tiled floors and timber shutters.

Are the Rooms different Sizes?

Our three suite types are the same size and floor plan, being 65sqm one bedroom self-contained Suite. They all have kitchenettes, laundry facilities, and a front and back verandah.

How many people can sleep in each room type?

In the interest of your comfort, we recommend a maximum of two adults and one child or three adults in Standard and Superior Suites. Deluxe Spa Suites are best suited to couples.

However maximum capacities for each room type follows:

Standard and Superior Suites can accommodate three adults, or two adults & two children aged 0 – 12 years. Additional guests sleep on a sofa bed. Deluxe Spa Suites can accommodate a maximum of three adults. The additional bedding is a double fold out Sofa bed.

What is the bedding for additional guests?

Can we get Twin Beds?

Yes, must be requested at time of booking to guarantee.

What are your Check-in and Check-out times?

Guaranteed check-in time is 3pm. Register at reception if you arrive earlier than 3pm – we can store your luggage and you can begin using all the resort facilities until your room key is available. Checkout time is 11am.

How far are you located from town?

We are 5kms south from the centre of town which equates to an approximately 45 minute walk to the main beach area.

Do you have a complimentary shuttle bus into town?

Yes, it leaves from the lobby three times daily: 11am, 3pm, 6pm and it departs town to return to the Resort at 11.15am, 3.15pm, 6.15pm. Bookings are essential, and must be booked through reception when at the resort. Outside of these hours Taxis are available.

Which airport should I fly into?

Ballina / Byron airport is 25min south of the Resort
. Coolangatta / Gold Coast airport is 1 hour north of The Resort.

Brisbane airport is 2 hours north of The Resort

Do you have car parking?

Yes, we have a large car park which is complimentary and plenty of spaces for all guests. Unfortunately there is no undercover or locked parking.

Do you have beach access?

Tallow Beach is a 10 minute stroll from the main facilities of The Resort.

What time is your complimentary Yoga class?

The class begins each day at 8am. All in-house guests are welcome to join in. It is held on the Spa Deck overlooking the pool and sub-tropical rainforest. We request you be punctual to avoid disruptions during classes.

Can I order amenities for my suite?

Yes, we can arrange additional items for your Suite such as flowers, wine, Champagne, cheese plates and more.

Are your Rooms non-smoking?

All of our Accommodation Suites and their balconies, Boardwalks, and main facility areas are designated non-smoking for the comfort of all guests.  A daily cleaning fee of $300 will be added to your bill if evidence of smoking in a suite is detected. A designated smoking area can be found on the Western verandah of the central facilities adjacent to the restaurant for your convenience.

Do you have Cots for hire?

Yes, we have port-a-cots available for hire at $20.00 per night including the linen. Due to limited availability please advise at time of  booking if you require a cot for your stay.

Is the resort an Adult Only or Child Free resort

Whilst the resort lends itself perfectly to honeymooners, couples and retreat styled stays, we do not restrict the ages of guests as long as each room occupied has at least one person of legal age in residence.

We advise that during school vacation time, the number of families visiting the resort is generally higher and we recommend guests carefully consider options before deciding to stay during these times.
