The Byron at Byron Resort and Spa is very proud to host The Jaaning Tree for an indigenous Food Weekend July 19 – 21. Commencing with a dinner on Friday night join acclaimed chef Clayton Donovan, Australia’s only indigenous hatted chef , and Byron at Byron head chef Gavin Hughes as they create an inspiring and thoroughly original menu. On Friday evening enjoy a contemporary menu blending indigenous flavours with the freshest local produce that The Byron at Byron is so famous for.

On Saturday the 20th Join Clayton as he takes guests on a guided journey through our rainforest, sampling all the native cuisine options. Be inspired as Clayton & Gavin hold a cooking demonstration using the local native produce.

Compliment your stay with a nurturing spa treatment, uniquely designed to coincide with this special weekend.

Enjoy a 90 minute treatment combining aromatherapy massage scalp massage and foot massage using a sweet combination of oils derived from the Australian bush including Lemon Myrtle Australian Native Fragonia, Blue Gully Gum, Eucalyptus, Australian Orange & Rosemary.
