TERMS & CONDITIONS

Rates as quoted are subject to availability. Package rates are valid until the 23/12/08 only excluding high season. High season is 24th December – 31st January 2009, and Easter Friday until Easter Monday (inclusive) each year. By using the above rates you agree with and abide by our Terms and Conditions. Rates quoted are per room per night on a room only basis, unless specified. All rates are inclusive of GST and quoted in AUD. Rates may increase without notice due to any changes in or the imposition of government charges taxes or levies. Rates include full use of all, run of house facilities. All rooms are non-smoking. Please note: A surcharge fee of 1.8% is applicable to all Visa and MasterCard credit cards and 2.5% is applicable to all American Express and Diners Club credit card transactions.

Check In/Check out

Check in time is 3.00pm and check out is 11.00am. Additional charges apply to guarantee early arrival and late departure. (Group check out is 10am).

Luggage Storage

Our concierge Department will arrange storage of luggage for guests. All luggage must be clearly labelled in order to ensure efficient and prompt service.

Children Policy

Infants' 0-2 years of age utilising existing bedding are free of charge, cots are charged at $10.00 per night. Children 3-12 years of age are charged at a child rate of $30.00 per night. A maximum of two children under 12 years can share one room. Special children's menus are available on request.

Cancellation Policy

Notice of any cancellation of, or amendment to a reservation must be provided in writing.

Full charges will apply for no shows

During the should season a cancellation fee of 50% will apply if cancellation occurs less than 72 hours prior to arrival.

During the high season (23/12/08 - 14/01/09 & 09/04/09 - 13/04/09) a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the total accommodation cost will apply if cancelled within 30 days of arrival.

An administration fee of $55.00 is applicable to any changes/cancellations made to your booking.

Any amendments/cancellations to Hotel packages will not be refunded after check in.

Over Booking

The Byron at Byron Resort and Spa reserves the right to over book which may result in relocation to another Hotel. In this event The Resort will attempt to secure accommodation of at least an equal or greater standard.

Trading Terms

If payment terms are not met The Byron at Byron Resort and Spa reserves the right to release all room space.

Force Majeure

The Byron at Byron Resort and Spa will not be in breach of this agreement or any way liable to any party, if it is prevented from complying with this agreement by reason of act of God, act of public enemy, Act of terrorism, war, earthquake, riot, explosion, compliance with any law or government restraint order, rule regulations, strikes, lockouts or any other cause not reasonably within the control of The Resort.

Liability

The Byron at Byron Resort and Spa will not be liable for any loss of any kind whatsoever.
