A fully-qualified full-time Chef de Partie is required for our busy kitchen at the Byron at Byron Resort.
With access to the best regional produce, our modern and well-equipped kitchen, and working with a friendly and hardworking team, the Chef de Partie is involved in all aspects of kitchen operations including cooking for a la carte, buffet and functions.
Skill and Experience Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Experience working with fresh produce and seafood
- Completed relevant chef qualifications accompanied by solid experience
- Excellent knowledge of food hygiene practices
- Ability and motivation to produce a high quality product
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong work ethic, team player and eye for detail
- Availability and willingness to work a seven day rotating roster including days, nights, weekends and public holidays
- Good personal hygiene and presentation

Part-time Banquets Supervisor is required at The Restaurant at The Byron at Byron Resort and Spa.
Previous fine-dining experience and banquets/conference experience is essential as well as supervisor training/experience.
Restaurant and Bar operations include breakfast, lunch and dinner. Resort facilities are open to the general public and in house guests.

Previous fine-dining/conference operations experience in a high-quality, high-volume environment

Previous experience in a hospitality supervisor role

Point of Sale experience and RSA

Excellent customer relations skills

Ability to multitask & prioritise as well as work in a team

Good understanding of wine and beverage service as well as conference operations

Availability and willingness to work 30-35 hours per week including early mornings, days, evenings, weekends and public holidays
