With the iconic lighthouse in view to one end and beautiful Broken Head at the other, Tallow Beach is a scenically stunning beach. Tallow Beach is a dog friendly beach for several kilometres. Cosy Corner

Cosy Corner is the northern end of Tallow Beach and so named as it offers a sheltered spot when the northerly winds are blowing. A popular local surfing spot and a place to watch the hang-gliders as they launch from overhead.

Belongil Beach

An open beach located north of the town centre, Belongil Beach is a recreational dog friendly beach, the most northern end designated as ‘clothing optional’. The home of ‘The Wreck’ (Wollongbar sank in 1921), it has since become a popular snorkelling spot and the shipwreck often creates a good surf break.

Brunswick Heads

North Head Beach offers a good surf break near the mouth of the Brunswick River while Brunswick Heads Beach is an open dog-friendly beach, patrolled by the Brunswick Heads Surf Lifesaving Club during the summer months. Torakina, a small sheltered beach near the mouth of the Brunswick River, is ideal for small children; when the tide's out the river becomes a sandy playground.
 
 
Seven Mile Beach

Seven Mile Beach

The beautiful and extensive Seven Mile Beach stretches north from ‘The Point’ at Lennox Head village. A well known surf break, Lennox point is listed as one of the top 10 surfing destinations in Australia. The more peaceful ‘boat channel’ area is perfect for families as the channel offers children a safe and calm area for swimming. The area in front of the Surf Life Saving Club is seasonally patrolled and care should be taken as rips are common.
